摘要
本文通过对语言测试发展历程的理论分析,指出大学英语四六级考试的正面和负面的反拨效应,提出在课堂测试中采用交际性较强的测试题型作补充,以弥补四六级考试的负面影响,促进对学生英语应用能力的培养。
Based on the theoretical analysis about development of language testing, the paper attempts to make college English teachers aware of the beneficial and harmful backwash of GET - 4 and GET - 6 and proposes that English teachers should make use of some communicative testing format in class tests, so as to avoid negative influence of GET -4 or GET - 6, and more important, to encourage students to pay attention to development of English communicative competence as well as language knowledge.
