Spontaneous remission of acute myeloid leukemia developed by granulocyte sarcoma and its relapse:A case report and review of the literature

目的 :探讨粒细胞肉瘤发展成急性白血病自发缓解后又髓外复发的特点。方法 :报告 1例原发髓外的粒细胞肉瘤发展成急性白血病自发缓解后又髓外复发的临床经过 ,并复习相关文献进行讨论。结果 :给予化疗和局部放疗后 ,患者病情稳定 ,骨髓和外周血均未再出现异常。结论

Objective:To report a case of spontaneous remission of acute myeloid leukemia whose onset is extramedullary granulocyte sarcoma.Method:A case of isolated cutaneous granulocyte sarcoma progressing to acute leukemia within 7 months, accompanied by infection and intracranial bleeding, had a spontaneous remission after taking antibiotics and transfusions. It had a extramedullary relapse at the primary lesion a month later. Result:The patient was given chemotherapy and local irradiation. After a long time of follow-up, she showed no peripheral blood and bone marrow abnormal.Conclusion:Either extramedullary granulocyte sarcoma or spontaneous remission of leukemia does advance or relapse without therapy.
