互联网时代,英语有居于世界语言霸权地位的倾向,汉语有沦为"方言"的可能性。回顾汉语的光辉历史,汉语不仅是一种文字,更是民族文化的重要组成部分,所以,为了进一步增强我们的民族自豪感和自信心,维护汉语在世界语言之林中应有的地位就显得尤为迫切。多种语言并存,在碰撞中合作、交流中发展,才有利于世界文化的真正进步。

In the age of internet, English shows the tendency to gain language hegemony while Chinese faces the threat of being reduced to a 'dialect'. With its splendid history,Chinese is not only a kind of language, but an important component of national culture.Therefore,it′s especially urgent to maintain Chinese′s position in the world of languages so as to strengthen national pride and self-confidence. Language world, the same as biological circle, should be rich and colorful. The co-existence, communication through conflicts and development through exchanges of world languages will truly benefit world culture. The maintenance of Chinese's status in the world of languages by enriching and perfecting it is, thus, not only a bless to the nation but a great benefit to the whole world.
