A New Method to Represent the Hierarchical Relation in Database Application——the ID-Path Method

In this paper a new method,the ID-path method,is int roduced to represent the hierarchical relation in database application and t o design SQL-sentence. This means to modify the representation of recursion in hierarchical relation, which can avoid the existing faults of the representat ion of recursion in the application of the Client/Server database.
