On the Present and Ultimate Concern of the Modernization of legal System in China

法制现代化是当下中国的时代课题。法制现代化从根本上说是人文精神的现代化 ,因而法制现代化应以人为中心、以人的幸福自由生活为终极关怀的现代化 ,其现实关切应当是权利至上 。

The modernization of legal system is the chinese urgent matter. Because it is besicaly the modernization of humanism spirit, men and their happy and free life should be taken as its ultimate concern, and its present concern should be the supreme right, that is its mode is based on the right-based theory.
