生物学词语的文化内涵及翻译

本文认为 ,语符转换虽然是语际交际的重要手段 ,但并非翻译中的焦点。翻译中的焦点是语符所指代的物外之意、象外之旨 ,即事物承载的文化内涵。英汉生物学词汇在各自的语言中占有重要地位 ,其语义受其所归属的文化影响至深 ,故其所蕴含的文化意义也不尽相同。本文对比分析了英汉生物学词语文化内涵的异同 ,探讨了翻译此类词语的理据与方法。

In this paper,the author believes that semiotic shift is the major_means of inter linguistic Communication,but not the focus of translation.The focus of translation is on the meaning between the lines,beyond the lines and behind the lines,or rather,the cultural connotations signified.Biological terms,conditioned by the source language culture as well as the target language culture,are invested with different cultural connotations.This paper aims at making a thorough analysis of the similarities and differences between SL and TL,and then finding out some approaches to translation of them.
