President Committee on Civil Rights made a very broad inquiry into the problem of civil rights and race relations, and sent its report'To Secure These Rights' to President Truman. This report reflected the introspection on racial problem of the postwar federal government and American people. A great number of copies of the report were published, and many people were eager to read it, which had an important effect on the American idea of interracial justice.$$$$
