悲剧精神作为欧美文化思想的本质特征 ,其精髓在于 :“人在无限的宇宙和社会客体面前勇敢地接受命运的挑战 ,不屈不挠地进取。”托尼·莫里森在其小说中 ,通过展现主人公在极限生存空间的张力中的挣扎和顽强反抗 ,展现黑人的悲剧命运 ,并通过对无序的人生中的非正常死亡、人性的异化、变态、扭曲现象的曲线叩问 ,高扬悲剧精神。
As the intrinsic feature of western culture,the spirit of tragedy's essence is human being bravely accept the challenge of fate in the infinite universe and society to indomitably make progress.Toni Morrison's novels show the tragic fate of the black through the description of the characters' struggle and unyielding resistance in the limiting living space,and uphold the spirit of tragedy through the roundabout questioning of the abnormal death and dissimilated ,distorted humanity in the disordered life.
