Yuwang tablet, according to a historical record, was written, engraved and erected by Yuwang himself on the Hengshan Mountain, --the Southern Mountain in China, after the successful completion of the river and watercourse regulation. For thousands of years, the tablet that bears 77 symbols hard to be identified has been studied. The Yuwang inscription was spread to the upper and lower reaches of Yellow River and to the south and north of the Yangtze River. Its existence and spread indicates a fantastic and thought-provoking phenomena in the water cultural history of China. The spirit of the Chinese ancestor's struggle against nature expressed by it is eternal.
