摘要
王念孙的《释大》是汉语词源研究方面的一篇值得注意的文献 ,如王国维所说 ,此文“以示声义相通之理” ,“使学者推而用之” ,对于我们研究词的同源关系有诸多的启示。同源词的认定是一件十分复杂的事 。
甋hi Da’ written by Mr. Wang Niansun is a remarkable paper on etymon studing. As Mr. Wang Guowei said, this paper shows us a principle that phonetic form has closed relation with its meanings, and urges scholars to explain words meanings by their phonetic forms. This paper enlightens us much on studying cognate words of Chinese. However, it is very complicated to confirm cognate words, thus this paper also leaves some problems behind which are well worth thinking about continually.
