云南民族教育现状调查及思考

Investigation and Thoughts on Present Situation of Ethnic Education in Yunnan Province

云南省各级各类学校在校生有 2 5 1万 ,各地州把民族教育摆在优先发展的地位 ,但还存在“两基”推进难度大 ,投入不足 ,教师队伍数量、质量不够 ,以及现代教育设备急缺等问题。应该加大投入力量 ,建立民族教育发展基金 。

The number of students in all kinds of schools i n Yunnan Province amounts to 2 510 000. Though the local governments at all leve ls have given priority to ethnic education,there still exist some problems such as:difficulties in basically popularizaing nine\|year compulsory education and b asically eliminating illiteracy among young and middle\|aged people;insufficient investment;lack of teachers; low quality of teachers and lack of equipment for modern education.More efforts should be made to increase investment,and funds fo r develoing ethnic education should be set up to solve problems in ethnic areas in Yunnan Province.
