摘要 Provides the methods to mitigate noise for the upstream channel over HFC networks. We first briefly discuss the HFC network topology, then we describe the sources of noise, the mechanism to form noise, the characteristics of their spectrum, etc. In light of the mechanism to form noise and the characteristics of their spectrum, many methods are put forward in this paper. These methods are evaluated with implementation. Provides the methods to mitigate noise for the upstream channel over HFC networks.
