摘要
A study by the CAS Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (SIBS) leadingto the discovery of a dozen of effectual compounds against SARS virus was praised on May 24 asanother major progress in the wake of SIBS successful efforts on protein expression of SARS virus byCAS President Lu Yongxiang. The progress is achieved by Jiang Hualiang, Shen Xu, Shen Jianhua, LuoXiaomin and Zuo Jianping of the CAS Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, a SIBS subordinate, incooperation with colleagues from SIBS Information Center for Life Sciences, the Hospital under thePLA Nanjing Military Command and the Shanghai Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
