Starting from the connotation of Marxist person' s all - round development, this paper expounds Deng Xiao -ping's theory about youth's all- around development of 'the new generation of people with lofty ideals ,moral integrity, good education and a strong sense of discipline',and,furthermore,probes into the inheritance and development of this theory by Jiang Ze - min,aiming at the international and domestic situations and the features of the epoch.
