The paper discusses the cell synchronization technology of TDD mode including every phase and function of the synchronization procedure. When synchronization procedure enters into the steady state phase, UE under soft handover is used to help to determine whether cells are synchronized. The signaling messages and packets formatation used in synchronization are also presented.
