Influence of energy density on microstructure and properties of sheet metals

摘要 激光弯曲成形是一种热应力成形塑性加工技术。光斑的能量密度的大小对弯曲角度和材料的组织性能影响很大。增加能量密度 ,板料的弯曲角度显著增大。对于一种材料 ,总存在一组特定的工艺参数 (光束输出功率、扫描速度、光斑大小等 )使板料的弯曲角度最大。而且通过合理控制光斑的能量密度 。 Laser bending process is a new flexible forming process without rigid tool. The energy density of the laser spot has a strong influence on the bending angle and the microstructure and properties of sheet metals. The bending angle increases with an increase of the energy density. For a given kind of sheet metal, there is a group of processing parameters (such as laser beam power, irradiating velocity, diameter of the laser spot and so on) to enable the sheet metal to obtain the largest bending angle. On the other hand, the material's microstructure and properties of the heated zones can be improved remarkably if the proper process parameters are chosen.
