This paper argues that the multi-media technology used in language teaching can provide a lifelike, active language learning learning and communicative environment. Meanwhile, the paper presents three functions of the multi-media technoloyg; 1)arousing the learners' enthusiasm;2)strengthening the teaching result;3)improving the teaching quality.
