本文从软交换技术在铁通城域网建设中的必要性、对城域数据承载网的技术要求、在铁通城域网的基本应用模型以及对软交换技术相关设备的基本要求等几个方面对软交换技术在铁通城域网中的应用进行了初步探讨。

The paper preliminarily discusses the application of soft switching technology in metropolitan network of railway communication in several aspects i.e. the necessity of soft switching technology for construction of the metropolitan network of railway communication, the technical requirements of the data transmission network, the basic application mode in metropolitan network of railway communication and the basic requirements of relative equipment for application of soft switching technology.
