神华神东矿区采煤机主要是引进英国JOY— 6LS0 5型长臂采煤机。该采煤机直流牵引电机直流串励电动机 ,调速方便、运行可靠。但由于结构比较复杂 ,维护工作量大 ,出现故障难判断等原因而经常影响正常生产。所以为了快速查找故障 ,提高检修效率 ,就该直流牵引电机在使用过程中可能出现的电气故障及排除方法进行了分析总结 ,为以后大修采煤机牵引电机提供了修理意见。

Imported American JOY-6LS05 shearers are playing a dominant role in coal production in Shendong mining area.Based on series actuated on AC traction motors,they have a convenient speed setting up and a reliable operation.Simultaneously its complicated structure results in longer break down to have maintenance and to take long time to judge and tackle the problems.So in order to get a quick trouble shooting and an efficient maintenance,the author has analyzed and made a summary about the possible electrical faults and remedies on the AC traction motors in practice,which aims at giving ideas for traction motors maintenance in future.
