Charity Association and Social Secu rity Law are the two motive forces of t he birth and development of social work education in the United S tates.The Education Committee on Social Work is in charge of the work of establishing and modifying the educational standards,examining and evaluating the schools of all kinds.And the social work education at different l evels has different objectives and f unctions.Social work education develops and changes its ideas and patterns with t he development of the American economy and society in order to give better expression to the basic value of social work and serve the American society well.
