版面是期刊各种编排手段的整体表现形式,期刊是否可读、易读,在一定程度上取决于版面的编排手段。版面绝不是内容的消极表现,而是内容的能动反映。只有恰当地运用文字、线条、色彩、图表等编排手段,对期刊版面进行合理的安排,才能使读者获得美的享受,吸引和引导读者去阅读期刊内容。

The layout of a printed sheet is an integral expression of ways and means used for arrangement of the printed sheet, and whether a periodical is readable and easy to read depends upon the ways and means usable for arrangement of printed sheets to a certain extent. Layout is absolutely not the passive but active expression of contents. Only when such ways and means as characters,lines,colour and graphs are properly used,the readers can then be attracted or guided to read the contents.
