论“全句修饰语”的位置——有关中学生作文语言的一个问题

On the Position of the Whole Sentence Modifier ——A Problem of the Composition Languages for the High School Students

句首出现的表示时间、处所、范围、条件之类的修饰语,是全句的修饰语。目前,中学生的作文往往存在不重视“语序”、未能把全句修饰语放到“合适”位置的问题。所以,应该理解全句修饰语的作用,从修辞的角度认识全句修饰语的位置,认识“位置的选择取决于修辞的需要”,从而解决中学生作文语言中存在的问题。

The modifiers that appear at the head of the sentence,which express time, place, scope, conditions and so on are the ones of the whole sentence.At present,lots of students don't pay much attention to the modifier order,and they can't put the modifiers in the proper place.Therefore, in order to comprehend the function of a modifier language, we particularly need to understand it from the rhetoric's angle. The position for modifier language depends on its need in the whole sentence, in this way, we can settle such problems as the students often have.
