澳大利亚塔斯玛尼亚大学是澳大利亚历史最长的名牌大学之一 ,其地质学专业已有近 16 0年的历史 ,具有较高的教育水平 ,在矿业界有较大的影响。本文从人才培养目标、课程体系、教学内容、教学方法、教学要求、教学管理等方面介绍了该校地质学教育的基本情况。

This paper mainly introduces the reputed aspects on the goal of geology education, course system, contents,methods,requirements and management of teaching in University of Tasmania,Australia.Comparing them with our congener education shows some problems that need to be solved in our geology education and suggests the direction and aspects of our teaching reform: to teach and train students for mining industry, to establish new wider course system suitable for the educational goal,to offer the new course contents aiming at social requirements,to organize students to obtain new knowledge by themselves, to enhance their capabilities with less teacher lectures and more practices,and to built a strict and canonical management system and rules to keep the teaching qualitative.
