An Approach to the Framework of the Legal System for the Market Economy in China

经济活动的最终目标是创造财富,为人类社会的生存提供物质保障。市场经济是以市场交换为主进行资源的优化配置,以实现经济活动的最终目标的经济运行模式。市场经济法制体系应以财产法为核心,包括主体法、行为法、社会保障法、市场秩序管理法等方面的内容。

The ultimate goal of economic activity is to create wealth, and to guarantee subsistence of human society. In essence, the market economy is a pattern of economic operation, featured with its optimum arrangement of resources mainly by means of market exchanges, and aimed at realization of the ultimate goal of economic activity. Henceforth, the legal system for the market economy should take the Property Law as its core and basis, covering Subject Law, Conduct Law, Social Security Law and Law of Management over Market Order, etc..
