中缅两国的边界形成和划定 ,经历了漫长的历史过程。 1885年 ,英国完全占领缅甸之后 ,中缅边界问题产生 ,并在 2 0世纪前期发生了震惊全国的片马事件和班洪事件。 196 0年 ,中缅友好和互不侵犯条约及边界条约的签订 ,两国之间历史遗留的边界问题最终解决。文章对中缅南段边界问题和班洪事件作了全面的分析论述。

It took a long time to get the borderline shaped and settled. In 1885,after the British occupied Myanmar,the borderline problem arose. In the early 20th century,there happened the world-shaking event in Pianma and Banhong.In 1960,the borderline problem was solved finally by signing the agreement of the friendship between China and Myanmar and the borderline treaty of the two countries. Here in the article, the borderline problem and Banhong event are illustrated and analyzed.
