A Revised Economic Ordering Quantity Model

根据边际费用理论,分析了经济订货批量模型(EOQ模型)在理论上的缺陷,提出了修正的EOQ模型,并通过实例计算进行了检验,说明了修正的EOQ模型的应用条件及使用中应考虑的因素。根据我国社会经济的情况,指出了EOQ模型在应用上的局限性和解决途径。

The traditional EOQ (economical order quantity) model is analysed by marginal cost theory. The shortcomings of EOQ model are obvious from the economical point of view, though reasonable from the mathematical point of view. A revised EOQ model is presented here. Test by case analysis demonstrates the advantages of the revised model over the tradional one. The conditions and some factors concerning the application of the EOQ model and its revision are discussed.
