硅谷的发展经历了国防产品、集成电路、个人电脑、因特网四个阶段;研究型大学、风险投资、独特的文化、气候与生活质量、社会结构形成了硅谷小企业集群成长和发展的支撑体系;小企业集群使硅谷构成了网络型的产业体系和企业组织结构,这反过来又推动了小企业集群的发展。我国科技园区中小企业集群化程度偏低,推动企业集群化成长,将成为我国高科技园区的必然选择。

The Silicon Valley experienced the stages of developing national defense products, integrate circuit, personal computer and Internet. Silicon Valley mainly consists of small business clusters, research universities, venture capital, unique culture, the quality of climate and life, and social structure formation for supporting the growth and development of Silicon Valley's small business clusters. Small business clusters make Silicon Valley network based on industrial systems and firms' organizational structures. The integrate degree of mediumsized and small business in our country's Hitech parks is rather low, so it will be the inevitable choice of our country's Hitech parks to promote business clusters.
