Yunnan's Tourist Industry after China's Entry into WTO

21世纪 ,经济全球化的进程将进一步加快 ,中国加入世界贸易组织 ,经济将面临全球化和“入世”的全面影响 ,旅游业将不可避免地卷入经济全球化大潮中。作为旅游资源大省 ,西部第一旅游强省 ,云南省要在 2 1世纪把云南省建成在东南亚有影响的国际旅游目的地 ,就必须超前谋划 ,趋利避害 ,抓住机遇 。

The 21st century will see an acceleration of the process of economic globalization. China's entry into WTO has made itself a part of the process and, as a result, its tourist industry has inevitably become globalized. As the leading tourist province in West China, Yunnan should avail itself of this opportunity to make itself an influential international tourist destination in the 21st century. To achieve this goal strategies must be designed with far sightedness and full consideration of all the pros and cons.
