Here described were the high-temperature and high-pressure H 2-H 2S corrosion of the hydroprocessing unit, the NH 4Cl-NH 4HS fouling corrosion of the high-pressure air coolers and detrimental effect of the heavy metals in feedstock. The characteristics of different forms of corrosion and their corresponding protective measures were presented.
