摘要
互连网络是MPP系统的重要组成部分,目前关于互连网络的研究已经取得了许多成果,并且在应用上积累了丰富的经验。因特网的迅速发展使对T比特交换技术的研究成为热点。本文着重分析将目前成熟的、具有较好扩展能力的MPP互连技术用于T比特路由器设计的可行性以及仍需解决的问题,并介绍三维Torus网络在AVICITSR路由器设计中的应用。
Interconnection network is an important component in MPP systems. The research on interconnection network has got many achievements and much experience has been accumulated in its application. Meanwhile, research on terabit switching becomes hot because of the rapid development of the Internet. This paper focuses on the feasibility of transferring the interconnection technology of MPP to the design of a terabit router, and presents the problems still to be solved. The 3Dtorus network applied by the AVICI TSR router is also introduced in this paper.
