摘要
刘向把“德”当作“国之宝” ,对德育非常重视。认为修德首先要戒除“利”欲 ,因为“利”足以败“德”。除了在精神上戒除利欲 ,还要在生活中以礼乐进行教化 ,礼乐是德育的有效途径。德育的最终目的是治国安邦。刘向的德育思想既继承了儒家的传统思想 。
Liu Xiang, who takes 'virtue' for the 'treasure of governing ', pays a great attention to the moral education. He confirms that the foundation of the moral education is to rid of 'lust for benefit', for benefit destroys 'virtue'. Except for the mental denunciation of the benefit, people should be equipped with rites and music, which is the effective way to achieve moral education. The final purpose of moral education is to enable the country to be ruled and solidified. Hence, Liu Xiang's concept of moral education inherits the traditional Confucianism, and demonstrates his creative reform as well.
