The Mathematical Optimization of Sports Match Arrangement.

本文利用图论及计算机编程模拟法 ,建立了一个为足球比赛安排赛程的数学模型。引入了三个控制函数 ,尽量使每队两次比赛的间隔大且分布均匀 ,方差尽量小 ,以此来减少比赛中由于赛程安排不当而引起的不公平现象。本文数据全由计算机模拟筛选。

Adopting graph analysis and computer assistant programming, the paper established a mathematical model for football match arrangement. And three dominant functions were introduced so that the time intervals between two successive matches of each team can maintain as long and evenly distributed as possible, and the variance be minimal. In this way the injustice resulted from unsuitably arranged match schedules can be minimized. The data in this paper was totally selected via computer simulation.
