The hotspraying and linematerial arc techniques have been recently introduced into the corrosion prevention of offshore platforms,jackets and ships.The principle of linematerial arc and hotspraying are rather simple and easy understandable and its effect can be seen obviously.These techniques have been applied to some offshore projects successfully and it seems worthwhile to be popularized.
