The configurations of different parts, process (including feed system, deaeration, reject removal, white water handling, ventilation, etc) and controlling system of modern high-speed paper machine are introduced with an example. The noteworthy issues of equipment selecting, ventilation and heat preservation, brackets of pipes, paper machine foundation, fire protection, general layouts and transportation are pointed out.
