摘要
"在双声语中最大限度地激活意指各异的声音",将作者与主人公始终置于紧张的动态关系中,从而使作品自始至终不存在"终结的、完成的、一次论定的语言",这是巴赫金所谓复调小说的主要艺术特征。巴赫金对复调小说的理论表述,涉及创作、作品体裁和情节布局特点的分析较多,但对读者阅读、理解复调小说所可能涉及的阐释学问题则正面论述较少。尧斯等人曾经指出过这一点。本文拟从作者—主人公—读者的互动对话关系中探讨复调小说的开放型语义结构和相关阅读接受问题。
'The extreme activization of hetero-directed accents within a double-voiced word'resulted from deliberately creating invariably dynamic and intense bonds between the author and the hero so that the work has'no ultimate,finalizing,once-and-for-all definite word'is characterized by Bakhtin as the primary artistic feature of the polyphonic novel.Bakhtin's theorizing about the polyphonic novel mainly concerns its production and its characteristics of genre and plot composition,while hermeneutic problems involving its reading and understanding on the part of the reader obviously does not receive sufficient treatment,a drawback Hans Robert Jauss,among others,has already taken notice of.By introducing the reader into the interactive and dialogic relationship between the author and the hero,this paper attempts a discussion on some of the theoretical problems relating to the open meaning structure and the reception of the polyphonic novel.
