摘要
"中国"在西方文本的讲述中,往往只是一种精神隐喻,或作为背景存在,或作为某种抽象的意义存在,并未真正进入到文本内部,参与文本的建构。20世纪初,法国作家谢阁兰却在小说《勒内·莱斯》中成功借用"紫禁城"这一不可知的形象,完成了小说从建构到自我解构的过程,使其成为一部现代意义上的"反小说"。与此同时,小说又借由"不可知的中国"传达了谢阁兰本人独特的"异域情调"观。
China,in the Western texts,has frequently the function of metaphor which presents either as a background or as a kind of spirit.It never contributes to the construction of texts as one part of structure.In the earlier twentieth century,Victor Segalen, a French writer,has employed the incomprehensible image of'Forbidden City'in Ren(?) Leys to practise the'construction and deconstruction'of fiction.And by such image of China,he expresses the opinions on'Exoticism'.
