计算机辅助翻译研究的语篇观

随着信息技术的发展,计算机辅助翻译研究逐渐成为备受关注的话题。然而,当前的计算机辅助翻译研究主要聚焦在实践与教学而未能在理论上进行系统探讨。计算机辅助翻译实践中出现的文本类型选择问题、术语一致性问题,可重复使用性问题、翻译记忆库更新问题、语境影响问题、翻译原则问题与译后修改问题等未被深入研究。本文将从篇章语言学视角,结合案例分析,讨论这些问题的解决策略,指出篇章语言学的七个语篇特征——意图性、可接受性、信息性、衔接性、连贯性、互文性与情境性——能够为计算机辅助翻译的系统研究提供一个更加开放与动态的平台。把计算机辅助翻译看作语篇,意味着计算机辅助翻译活动是一个互动的过程,可以把语篇与语境因素考虑在内。本研究旨在提高计算机辅助翻译研究并促进翻译研究的全面发展。

With the development of information technology,the research on computer-assisted translation has gradually become a hot topic. However,the present computer-assisted translation studies mainly focus on practice and teaching rather than systematic theoretic discussion. The issues of text type selection,terminology consistence, repetitive use, translation memory database update, context influence,translation principle and post revision that exist in computer-assisted translation practice have not been thoroughly analyzed. Combined with the case analysis, this paper discusses the solutions to these problems from the perspective of text linguistics. It is suggested that the seven criteria of text linguistics,that is,intentionality,acceptability,informativity,cohesion,coherence,intertextuality and situationality can provide a more open and dynamic platform by which the study of computer-assisted translation can be investigated systematically. By discussing the computer-assisted translation as text,this paper intends to regard that the computer-assisted translation activity is an interactive process and hence will take textual and contextual factors into consideration. It aims to promote the computer-assisted translation studies and further the overall development of translation studies.
