高职教育是高等教育的重要组成部分,以培养高等技术应用型人才为根本任务,以知识社会需要为目标。“入世”后,由于经济结构的变化导致职业结构的调适,呼吁加速技术应用型人才培养。为适应国际化人才竞争,高职教育人才为先导,树立现代教育观点,注重素质教育,树立国际化观念;以教学改革为核心;以教学基本建设为重点;注重提高质量,培养特色鲜明、有现代意识、在国际人才市场上有竞争能力的高素质的人才。

The Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education. Its fundamental task is to develop higher technical and applied talents and its aim is to adapt to the social needs. After China's, entry into the WTO, the changes of economic structure have led to the adaptation of vocational structure, which requires enhancing the training of technical and applied talents. In order to adapt to the competition of international talents, the work of training talents in the higher vocational education must be guided as the educational concept, set up the modern educational concept, lay stress on the quality education and establish the international concept. Also, it should regard reform as its core, teaching basic construction as its key point and attach importance to improving quality so as to develop the talents of high quality who have distinct characteristics, modem concepts and competitive abilities in the international talent market.
