摘要
光纤是光纤通信系统中最基础的传输物理媒质,由于信息传送需求的不断增长,对光纤通信系统提出了新的要求。于是,系统自然要对光纤提出新的要求。原有各种类型的光纤不能适应这种新的需求,人们就会研究开发新型光纤以满足系统的要求。本文在简述光纤的发展历程及新型光纤产生的背景之后,介绍了G.652D、和G.656三种新型光纤的主要特性以及它们的标准制订情况。
Fiber is the basic transmission media in optical fiber communication systems. There are some new requirements to optical fiber communication systems due to the increase of information transport demands. There for some new requirements to fiber are rose. Existed variety type of fibers can not compliance those new requirements, so several new types of fiber are developed. Characteristics of G.652D, G.655C and G.656 fiber and its standards are introduced after evolution history of fiber and development background of new types of fiber are described briefly in this paper.
