The method of serial communication between temperature itinerant detecting instrument and PC computer is introduced,which realized by Delphi and VB's communication widget MSComm under Win2000.The communication port's initialization,serial port catching and read-writing,and the setting of database and function window invoved in the communication are described in detail.The part of source program of serial communication is present.The solution to the problems which is present in the programm's debugging is put forword.
