摘要
分析了有代表性的5个主动网络性能测量体系结构的数据获取和存储的方法。在综合分析它们优势与不足的基础上设计和实现一个新的基于目录服务的分区域网络性能测量框架NPMI。文章介绍了它的层次结构、组成模块和各角色在测量区域间和区域内的通讯模型。重点分析NPMI的核心目录服务的功能与目录组成结构。灵活结合主动测量控制协议和测量工具模块包装方法解决了NPMI的数据获取和存储问题。
The paper analyzes the methods of data collection and storage used by five major active network performance measurement infrastructures.Based on their advantages and deficiencies,a new domainized infrastructure upon directory service is brought out.We directly name it NPMI (Network Performance Measurement Infrastructure).In this paper,NPMI's architecture and composed modules are introduced,as well as the communication model among intra domains and inter domains.We particularly introduce the function and hierarchy of the directory service,which is NPMI's key component.The module of data collection and storage is improved through integrating the One-Way Active Measurement Protocol proposed by IPPM with NIMI's measurement modules.
