Objective To observe the therapeutic effect and safety of piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium for injection(4:1) in the treatment of children with pneumonia. Methods 180 children with pediatric pneumonia admitted to the hospital from January 2016 to December 2017 were selected, according to the different treatment methods, they were divided into 3 groups,60 cases in each group. The group A was given cefoxitin treatment, the group B was given oxycephalosporin treatment, the group C was given piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium. The clinical efficacy, heat withdrawal time, cough disappearance time, lung vocal regression time, blood loss recovery time, bacterial clearance and adverse reactions were compared between the three groups. Results The total effective rate and bacterial clearance rate of group C were higher than those of group A and group B,the heat withdrawal time of group C was shorter than those of group A and group B,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the disappearance time of cough, the time of lung voice disappearance, the recovery time of blood picture and the incidence of adverse reactions in the three groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium is safe and effective in the treatment of children with pneumonia, and the incidence of no adverse reactions is low.
