摘要
在《玫瑰的名字》修道院离奇的凶杀案中,藏书馆一直是凶杀事件的中心。从文本语境中看,藏书馆这一空间除了具有指称意义之外,在隐喻意义上指向三个维度:以藏书馆规整的造型和上下结构隐喻宗教和权力秩序;以藏书馆内部的无序空间装饰和编码地图对于推理的诱导隐喻混沌的经验和宇宙观;以藏书馆的相对位置和最终命运隐喻悬而未决的真理。通过对藏书馆这一以中世纪为背景的空间设置,艾柯悬置了西方传统的认识论、本体论以及二元对立的价值体系,将他后现代的'开放文本'展现在了我们面前。
In the bizarre murder in The Name of the Rose,the library has been the center of the murder.In terms of textual context,the space of the library,in addition to its referential meaning,also points to three dimensions in the metaphorical meaning:the formalization and the upper and lower structure of the library metaphorize the order of religion and power;the disordered decoration of the library and coded maps leading wrong reasoning metaphorize chaotic experience and cosmology;the library’s relative position and ultimate destiny metaphorize the unknown truth.Through the library set in the Middle Ages,Eco suspended the Western traditional epistemology,ontology and binarism,and presented his postmodern'open text'to us.
