MR/PVA薄膜的SP和PP偏振存储特性的比较

摘要 用两正交偏振光 (SP)和两 P偏振光 (PP)作为记录光 (λ=5 32 nm) ,记录光的功率均为 5 m W,用 He- Ne激光器 6 32 .8nm红光作为读出光 ,分别得到两种记录条件下甲基红掺杂聚乙烯醇薄膜 (MR/ PVA)样品的光栅生长曲线 .发现用两 P偏振光作为记录光时 ,光栅生长曲线分为快、慢 2个过程 ;两正交偏振光作为记录光时 ,光栅生长曲线只有一个过程 ,前者的慢过程和后者过程的响应时间近于相同 . Using two orthogonal linear polarizing beams (SP) and two parallel polarizing beams (PP) as recording light ( λ =532nm) with the same power of 5mW, and the red light ( λ =632.8nm) of He-Ne laser as reading light, the curves of grating growth of MR/PVA film are obtained under the two recording conditions. It is shown that the curve includes a fast and a slow processes when the two parallel polarizing beams is used as recording light, and when the two orthogonal polarizing beams are used as recording light, there exists only one process. The responding time of the former's slow process is almost the same as that of the latter's.
