Financial deepening theory has provided the important theory gu id ance for the economy of developing countries.This article judges Chinese finan cial deepening level from gross financial weight and financial tool diversity r espectively,and concludes that the degree of Chinese financial deepening is sti ll low,and puts forward prudent financial deepening countermeasure.
