Analysis and Outlook on the Using Conditions of Singaporean Chinese over the Last Two Decades

新加坡华人社会语言的使用情况比较特殊 ,近年来华语的使用状况不容乐观 ,不少人担心华语将会悄悄消失。本文就从最近 2 0几年华文的使用状况入手 ,分析了它的发展特点及成因 ,并根据掌握的资料和了解的情况对新加坡华语的发展趋势作了几点预测。

It is very special of the languages using conditions in Chinese community in Singapore, and it is not so optimistic in recent years that some people are worrying Chinese language will disappear in Singapore some day. Beginning with reviewing the using conditions of Chinese, this article analyses the characteristics as well as its causes in developing, and in a further step predicts the tendency of Singaporean Chinese based on the data and materials.
