王安忆的《天香》是一部上海现代的"史前"传奇。它叙述了晚明时代上海快速发展成形的历史生活状貌;塑造了小绸、希昭、蕙兰、申儒世、柯海、阿潜等许多栩栩如生的典型形象;语言典雅、含蓄、隽永,细节充盈、饱满、精致,其诗词歌赋、书画刺绣、园林建筑、服饰美食的运用,更使作品气势恢弘。本文对天香园从繁华到衰落、从闺阁女子到退场男人以及典雅艺术等,都作深入细致的分析。
Tian Xiang by Wan Anyi is a modem 'prehistoric' legend of Shanghai,describing the 70 years of historical life fast developed in Shanghai from the 38* of Jiajing year to the 2^(nd) of Chongzhen year,with several figures vividly portrayed like Xiaochou,Xizhao,Huilan.Shen rushi,Kehai,A'qian and so on.The work is fascinating and ambicious with exquisite details of poems and songs,painting and calligraphy,garden building,dress,personal adornment and delicious food,all of which is narrated in delicate,meaningful words.This paper makes a deep research into the novel's arts and Tian xiang Garden from its prosperity to decline,as well as its boudior females and exited males.
