网络类型文学的繁荣态势已经成为新世纪文学研究的热门对象之一。作为网络文学分支中的一个重要类型,网游小说也已度过了十多个年头,它既吸收了网络文学母体的基本特征与文化逻辑,又具有更加明确的受众定位与言说目标,在丰富当下文化生活的同时,也呈现出许多异于其他类型文学的鲜明属性。为此,本文将从网游小说的生成环境与发展历程、虚实类型的再分类、基本叙事特征、现状及其建构价值的反思等几方面入手,试图通过类型研究的方式对其进行较为全面的讨论分析,以此勾勒该小说类型的基本样貌。

The prosperity of network fictions has been a popular research object in literature studies. As an important style, the fiction of web games not only has the basic features and cultural logic of network fictions, but also a more explicit audience-target and narrative-objective. This paper makes a study on its developing environment and history, the style classification, the features of its narration, its contemporary condition and literary value, and tries to make an outline of the novel's basic style.
