摘要
MOOC课程的大规模和开放特性与公共图书馆的公众教育服务宗旨契合,公共图书馆参与MOOC教育服务是时代发展的必然趋势。美国芝加哥公共图书馆体系的Learning Circle项目建立了MOOC服务的良好先例,本文探索其背后的学习理论、项目发展历史、内容及项目效果,详细梳理了图书馆及图书馆员在其中的作用,并针对我国公共图书馆体系,提出公共图书馆在MOOC环境下的创新服务发展建议。
The large-scale and open nature of MOOC courses is consistent with public library's public education service purpose. Thus, the public library's participation in MOOC education service is an inexorable trend of development. The Learning Circle programs in Chicago Public Library system established a good precedent of MOOC services. This article explores its underlying learning theories, project development history, content and effect, reviews libraries and librarians' role in it, and propose innovative service development suggestions for public libraries in the MOOC environment.
