There are many methods to judge spheroidization of nodular cast iron. Most of them belong to two types: device-based judging, and experience-based judging. Although device-based judging is accurate, it is costly and has exclusive requirements on workers. Therefore, experience-based judging is quite popular among small and medium enterprises. This paper elaborates several experience-based methods of spheroidization of nodular cast iron.
